OUR STORY
Growing up, my mum cooked every meal from scratch at home. She's French, and her dad was Italian, so pasta was a staple in our household and the sauces came in all delicious forms: rich, creamy, spicy, herby… they were simple, but always bursting with Mediterranean flavours.
After university, I was always busy and on the go. Eating out all the time was not an option, but I had no time to cook and was always super tired at the end of the day. Buying all the ingredients to cook from scratch would have been too expensive and time consuming.
Finding quick and easy meals wasn't easy, I found pasta sauce sections in stores uninspiring. The variety was limited and the flavours unappealing… How many tomato and basil sauces did they need? When I looked at the labels; the water, salt and sugar content seemed unecessarily high. I always grabbed a jar and ended up being disappointed. I felt unhealthy and was eating to live, rather than enjoying my food as much as I had been growing up. I knew I had to put this right!
I’ve been busy ever since putting some of my favourite sauce recipes into jars for more people like me to enjoy, with zero effort needed.
After years of painstaking trial & testing (aka me eating a literal boat load of pasta) we’ve developed three sauces that tick that box. We’ve put in all the effort, so that you don’t have to.
